For God so loved the World
that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Community leaders

Church in the Community Stourbridge is overseen by the CITC elders, but led locally by a core team. These are people who are valued for their wisdom and leadership. They are God’s faithful shepherd and leaders of the church.

Andy Hodson

Andy Hodson

Andy has been with Church in the Community since it was started in 2009. He has previously planted several other churches as well as serving in Zimbabwe with short term teams. He has a BIG heart for people and gets excited when he sees others grow closer to Christ. While he is officially the Church Leader at Church in the Community, he is a big believer in building teams and allowing other people to use their gifts in order to build up the church. Andy is also the UK Field Director for Greater Europe Mission; which seeks to bring missionaries into the Europe to act as a catalyst for church planting and discipleship.

Andy grew up in the Black Country and is very familiar with the people and the area. Andy is married to Isobel, who you will often see serving along side with him in the church. They have three teenage girls, Sophie, Chloe, and Bethany.

Jordan Armstrong

Jordan helped plant Church in the Community Stourbridge in 2016 and is currently supporting Andy in leading the church in an apprenticeship capacity.

Aside from CITC Stourbridge, Jordan spends a large part of his time disciplining young people through his youth band, Harmony. They help support local churches in leading worship and regularly helped CITC Lakeside with this.
