Life groups

Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm/7pm to 9pm

Life groups at CITC Stourbridge are smaller groups (roughly around 5-15 people) that meet mid-week to pray, study the Bible and fellowship in a safe environment. Most life groups meet in people’s homes and we actively encourage all the church family to join a life group, as this is part of our pastoral care strategy.

We are aware that people learn and fellowship in different ways so we have various styles of life groups to ensure that there’s something for everyone.

The aim of these Life Groups is to be a place where you can connect with others to pursue Jesus in an authentic community. In these groups, life is shared together in the context of growing disciples of Jesus Christ. Acts 2 gives us a picture of what true community is suppose to look like and we strive to model this in each of our groups;

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals and to prayer.” – Acts 2:42

The reason we are so passionate about community is in Genesis 2, when God created Adam He said “It is not good for man to be alone.” We were made to live in and thrive in community with others. Authentic community takes time to develop, but we believe;

“As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend” – Proverbs 27:17

Our hope and vision is that Life Groups is where you develop friendships that you can grow, laugh, and serve with.
