Small Groups, Big Vision
We are passionate about community. In Genesis 2, when God created Adam, He said “It is not good for man to be alone.” We are made to live and thrive in community. Whilst real, deep relationships take time to develop, we truly believe: “As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend.” – Proverbs 27:17.
Life Groups are an essential part of our church life. We come together each week for dinner, prayer, bible studies and fellowship together, and it makes a huge difference to our growth and wellbeing as believers.
We regularly meet in homes in smaller groups for our Life Groups, generally between 5-12 people in a group. Acts 2:42 gives us a picture of what our vision is for these groups:
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper) and to prayer.”
Our hope and vision is for Life Groups to be a place in which friends can grow together, laugh together, pray together, and serve together. Each week you have the opportunity to build solid relationships with other members of the group, be open and honest in conversation and discussion, and go on a journey together as a Life Group family. You need to come and see.
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper) and to prayer.”Acts 2:42 [NLT]
